Location. The regal Grand Visconti Palace hotel in Milan, Italy, is located within two kilometres of the Duomo, La Scala opera house and the canal district, Navigli. The hotel is four kilometres from Castello Sforzesco and Brera Art Gallery. Milan's central station, Stazione Centrale, is two kilometres away and Milan Linate Aiport (LIN) is seven kilometres away.

The number 73 bus leaves every 10 minutes from outside arrivals and runs to San Babila station on Milan's underground metro system. There is a metro stop 50 metres from the hotel. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one-way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined. The hotel offers parking (surcharge). Driving directions.From Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Follow signs for City Centre until you reach Largo Marinai D'Italia. Turn left and follow the 'Circonvallazione' until Piazza Lodi. Turn right.
